The level of hormonal background (the content of testosterone in the body) significantly affects a large number of functions of a man. A high level contributes to greater sexuality, self-confidence. But most importantly, men with such a hormonal background are physically hardier, capable of greater physical exertion and quicker recovery after them. Thus, it is important for a bodybuilder to have a high hormone level. Of course, training in the gym raises the amount of testosterone, however only for a short period of time. To establish and maintain a high level of this hormone, regular sex is needed. It then helps maintain testosterone levels on a high level.
Hormonal level, dispelling the last myths.
As for the loss of energy and protein during sex, it all can easily be restored with a protein cocktail. Drinking the protein mixture before bedtime to raise the hormone level, you then won’t be afraid for the lack of necessary elements in the body. A high level of testosterone will provide a faster recovery of muscles, which will certainly affect their growth.
So, the presence of sex in the life of a bodybuilder is not an obstacle to progression in bodybuilding. On the contrary, its presence can have a positive effect on the state of the hormonal level and the speed of recovery of the athlete after training and, accordingly, the rate of its progression.
