Should I buy oral steroids or injectable? Which form is the best?

Anabolic steroids became widely popular in modern sports, especially in bodybuilding. More and more athletes start using gear to improve their power performance, to grow bigger muscles or to lose weight faster. There are only two forms of steroids – pills and injections. You can find different opinions, some say that tablets are ineffective, others say that injections are not safe and it is better to take pills. So I am going to describe each form in details and allow you to choose which one is best for you.
Anabolic steroids in tablets are not presented in such a wide range, as injectable ones. A truly effective tablet AAC you can literally count on fingers (Oxandrolone, Turinabol, Stanozolol, Methandienone, Oxymetholone and a few others). In addition, many oral steroids have direct analogues in injectables, which not only inferior to them, but also in some ways are even superior. Stanozolol injection, for example, unlike pills, is free from hepatotoxicity.
Oral steroids are usually preferred by novice bodybuilders who are just getting into all this steroid thing. It is much easier to take pills than to prepare syringes, needles, etc. Some oral steroids can’t be replaced by injection form. They have their advantages, for example, tablets provide a better muscle growth in short period of time. That is why many bodybuilders recommend them. Also a benefit is the fact that pills are difficult to detect in a doping test. That’s why they are used by athletes who have serious competitions and tests because already in the shortest possible time after the cycle, it is almost impossible to identify what they used.
Oral anabolic steroids have side effects too. The most common are:
- High blood pressure
- Mood changes
Injectable steroids are more effective than oral but they need more time than pills. Experienced athletes who use steroids say that tablets are recommended for those who want to get big faster and injections – for those who want better and higher-quality muscles. They are fully absorbed by the body and start action quicker because they are only injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Most common injectable steroids are Trenbolone, Deca Durabolin, Winstrol, Equipoise, etc.
One of the best advantaged of injectable steroids, which can draw anyone’s attention is its rarity of use. What do I mean? The fact that most injectable AAS do not require frequent use, although there are exceptions, for example, Testosterone Propionate, which is taken every other day. Another good point is the curve of increase and decrease of drugs effect. Propionate, for example, starts to act a few hours after administration, decanoate is beginning to show its effect much later – usually within a few days.
Of course, injectables are not at all good and perfect. They have their drawbacks. Injections (of some steroids) may be painful and easily definable during doping test.
So which are the best to use? Both forms have their advantages and disadvantages. Depending on what results you are expecting, you choose what you are going to use. Oral roids provide big muscle growth in shorter time, when injectable ones – smaller but better quality gains which for longer terms.
Also, some professional athletes take pills in the beginning of the cycle and then switch to injections. For example, a had a friend in the gym who was always including both forms in his cycle. He said that pills act as a good start-kick in the beginning and then he switches to injections to make his gains more quality and long-lasting.
