Beginner always has big expectations about the first cycle. The athlete has insufficient knowledge of some questions which are connected with efficiency and safety of use of anabolic steroids. In this article, we will discuss about the minimum knowledge and principles for the achievement the maximum effect with less harm to health.
This knowledge can be divided into the organization of nutrition, exercise planning, rest, the principles of steroid choice for the first cycle, studying the properties of the selected AAS, monitoring the health status and PCT.
The athlete thinks about where to start when he decided to begin the first taking of steroids. Let’s analyze each item in details.
- The organization of nutrition. If an athlete has reached the limit of his physical development, then he knows about the principles of nutrition. People start using steroids but they don’t know exactly the basic rules of nutrition. Specificity of nutrition on the AAS course is a significant need for the body in carbohydrates, proteins, and fats because of the acceleration of metabolism. It is approximately 4-5g of carbs per kg bodyweight but it can vary. About 3g of proteins per kg bodyweight for the increase of the muscle growth. And 120g of fats per day because it is necessary for the formation of new cellular structures.
Anabolic steroids give the possibility of regeneration and growth but the effect will be minimal without the balanced diet.
- Physical activity. The using of AAS gives the capacity of the more rapid regeneration and at the same time the increasing the intensity of the workouts.
The intensity can be increased in several ways:
– The increase in the number of repetition in the set
– The decrease of the rest time between the sets and exercises
– The increase of the weights
Usually, the intensive training gives the necessary incentive for the growth of muscle during the regeneration period.
- The rest is the most necessary and vital for the growth muscle as during the cycle and out of it. The muscle growth happens during the rest period in combination with the balanced diet. Without it can be opposite effect.
Actually, the beginner must train three times per week, sleep well and don’t be nervous during the day.
- Choosing the steroids for the first cycle. It seems that it is the big problem for the beginners. The athletes begin to choose the most powerful steroids with the high dosages for the first cycle. They want the significant results from the first time of using steroids.
A beginner should start with one short-lived steroid. It has the several arguments:
– This is necessary in order to be able to stop the side effects if such arise.
– For the understanding how our body reacts to the drug and how accepted dosages influence on the progress of athlete.
- The full study of the work of the selected drug and also including the side effects. This item is very actual because the beginner usually doesn’t know how the drug works and which side effects can appear during the cycle. The athlete must be ready for the body changes. A lot of beginners stop the cycle because of unavailability for the physical changes.
- Monitoring the health status. Through the monitoring the health status the athlete will understand better the processes that happen in the body. The state of some organs varies before and after the steroid cycle. Moreover, it helps to choose correct drugs and dosages for the health control of the cycle and after the cycle. Tests on hormones are most often made: LH, FSH, total testosterone, estradiol, prolactin, progesterone; ultrasonography: heart, liver.
- The monitoring of the health status is connected with PCT (post cycle therapy). PCT is doing for the minimizing the side effects and complications after the cycle. Also, it helps to establish the hormonal background and stop the rollback syndrome. Of course, the first cycle will not be connected with the high dosages then it is not necessary to use complex drugs for PCT.
- The “fight” with the rollback syndrome. The first what must understand the athlete is that after the refusing the steroids, the ability of the body to restore is reduced. And to train in the former regime is harmful under such conditions. The second step is to keep the increased weight through the use of drugs with the anabolic activity.
- The regeneration of the main biochemical indicators of the blood. It means regeneration of the liver function, bile and lipid profile.
The life of the beginner will be easier with this complex of described knowledge before the first cycle of AAS.
